The National Health Forum is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization established in 2004 to offer continuing medical education to healthcare professionals and to provide the general public with the latest information on today’s medical issues from the nation’s key leaders in the Healthcare and Business community.

2005 Spekaers

The 2nd annual National Health Forum™ brings together leaders in medicine, science and business to address the latest medical issues. This year’s event welcomes The United States Surgeon General, Rear Admiral Kenneth P. Moritsugu, M.D., M.P.H., and American Medical Association President, William G. Plested, III MD as keynote speakers. The focus of this year’s event is on prevention and building bridges between the medical, business and patient communities.

The National Health Forum has several components. There will be 12 Continuing Medical Education sessions with up to six hours of CME credits available for attending physicians.

The General Session opening breakfast and keynote luncheon has an expected attendance of over 500 and The US Surgeon General and AMA President will give their keynote addresses respectively.

The Gala dinner will have over 1000 in attendance where the world renowned Doctor’s Orchestra of Houston will perform.

Last year the event garnered widespread publicity, and this year we are targeting national exposure with a half hour television program of the event as a “special” on ABC.
